Abu Dhabi: Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kabi, Chairman of the Board of the United Arab Emirates Red Crescent (UAERC) and Mr. Peter Ford, Representative of UNRWA's Commissioner-General, signed today two agreements for the rehabilitation of shelters and relief activities in Palestinian camps in Lebanon.


Sweden Contributes SEK 70 million for UNRWA’s Emergency Appeal

The Government of Sweden, through the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) has contributed SEK 70 million (approximately US$ 8 million) to UNRWA in support of the UN Consolidated Appeal Process for occupied Palestinian territory in 2009.
