 Nineteen-year-old Tala Shalkhati is a bright Palestine refugee student with a dream to 'leave a fingerprint on society’. Tala received the highest score on the Tawjihi exams in Jordan in 2012, with an average score of 99.6 per cent. She is now in her first year of medicine at the Jordan University of Science and Technology. |

| UNRWA deplores killing of five Palestine children refugees

 It is with great distress that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has learned of the violent deaths of five Palestine refugee children, one in Dera'a on 15 March and four others in the Damascus area on 19 March. Four of the children reportedly died as a result of the use of heavy weapons.
