West Bank teacher’s way with IT wows students

UNRWA provides schooling to over 50,000 students in 99 schools in the West Bank, and has for the last three years been focused on a special plan to raise standards. UNRWA’s plan includes making the curriculum more targeted, teaching methods and remedial classes, and encouraging better community participation.


Jordan teacher puts principles into action

UNRWA operates 172 schools in Jordan, providing nine years of basic education for more than 122,000 students and training more than 600 teachers each year. While UNRWA students test well above average in Jordan, there are no resources to create programming for special-needs students.
