The Indian government has given US$ 1 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) to provide daily food supplements to thousands of refugee schoolchildren in the Gaza Strip.

The Indian Minister of State for External Affairs, E Ahamed, handed over a cheque to UNRWA Commissioner-General Filippo Grandi in Ramallah today.
