Happy Australia Day! Today, UNRWA extends its thanks to the people of Australia, one of the leading supporters of the UN Agency and Palestine refugees.

The Australian government is a consistent supporter of UNRWA's work. Over the last 10 years, Australia has contributed over AUD 106 million (USD 84 million) to the Agency, for its core activities and for emergency work in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and in the Nahr el-Bared Camp in Lebanon.

Today is an opportunity for UNRWA to thank the people of Australia for their growing collaboration with our Agency and the Palestine refugees we serve.
