Publications

UNRWA’s publications cover many different areas, from socio-economic reports to appeals, newsletters, strategy documents and UN resolutions. This archive, dating back to 2000, contains useful information for researchers, partners and members of the public.

9. Many schools urgently need upgrading and replacing but severe funding shortages mean the Agency has not been able to keep up with demand. In Gaza, more than 100 new schools are needed, with nine out of ten schools running on double shifts.
