The Blue Balloon in these photos is a protective moon that has accompanied Palestine refugees throughout their exile. It is a symbol of hope that can rise over obstacles and unite people that have been separated as the Palestine refugee communities have.
The balloon is a childhood object, representing the innocence of children who are the chief recipients of UNRWA services.
Now in our 60th year alongside the Palestine refugees, we continue to serve in hope for a future where our services and protection will no longer be needed.
