UNRWA successfully expanded its humanitarian response operations today, distributing humanitarian assistance to displaced civilians and host communities in Beit Saham for the first time. 988 food parcels, 1,200 bags of bread and other humanitarian items were provided.

Since the start of the emergency shelter response, UNRWA has distributed a total of US$ 95.4 million to Palestine refugee families. To date, the Agency has only received funding to reconstruct 200 of the 9,061 houses totally destroyed.
