On 25May 2016, the UNRWA Gender Initiative Programme (GIP) organized a closing ceremony for its Gender Based Violence(GBV) initiative “Your Life Is Important to Us” at the Moonlight Hall in Gaza city. Approximately 300 community members, including representatives from local organizations, attended the closing event.

As of June 1, UNRWA will start implementing a refined adjusted hospitalization policy according to which the percentage of the Agency's coverage for secondary care will be adjusted to 90 percent for government hospitals, 90 percent for private hospitals and 100 percent for Palestine Red Crescent hospitals.
