“I was living in Yarmouk Camp and I had to flee my house,” says 11-year-old Qamar. “I was in the third grade when I left.” Like many Palestine refugee children from Syria, Qamar’s education was abruptly interrupted by the conflict.

UNRWA established a distribution point in Yalda today, initiating a third round of food distribution to families in Yalda, Babila and Beit Saham displaced or affected by the conflict in Yarmouk. A total of 1,200 families were provided with food parcels and packets of bread.
