    Statement of UNRWA Acting Commissioner-General to the Advisory Commission

    On 15 November, Member States in the Special Political and Decolonization Committee of the General Assembly adopted the four annual draft resolutions that relate to UNRWA. The resolution “Assistance to Palestine Refugees” contained our mandate renewal, from the period 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2023, and was voted on by 170 Member States. This is one of the highest majority votes in the General Assembly.Read more
