Over seventy people donated above US$50 to our Give for Food competition and so were entered in the Prize Draw competition that ran from June 2 – June 17. Of these generous donors, fifteen were picked as winners of World Cup prizes in a random draw conducted by our goodwill ambassador Mohammed Assaf. Remember, our Give for Food campaign continues into Ramadan, so please continue giving. Donate now.

Prize Draw Rules

1. When? The #giveforfood competition will start on 2 June 2014 and run until midnight, 17 June 2014; after this time, no entries will be accepted for the draw. 
2. How to enter? When you donate more than US$ 50 online at www.unrwa.org/donate/, you will automatically be entered into the draw. 
3. What are the prizes? Winners will receive World Cup merchandise – five soccer balls (Adidas Brazuca 2014 FIFA World Cup Replique Ball) and ten official jerseys – signed by our goodwill ambassador and ‘Arab Idol’ winner Mohammed Assaf.
4. Only one entry is allowed per supporter.
5. The contest will be a random draw. The winners will be chosen randomly on 18 June by Mohammed Assaf himself. All decisions are final.
6. The winners’ names will be published online on our landing page on 25 June at www.unrwa.org/giveforfood.
7. Winners will be notified by 25 June at the email registered with their online donation.
8. UNRWA cannot accept responsibility for any omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission as a result of server functions, virus, bugs or other causes outside its control of an individual’s online donation/entry.
9. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable or failure to reply as specified in the notification may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
10. Employees of UNRWA and persons connected with the draw are not eligible to enter the competition.
11. No cash alternatives can be offered and prizes are not transferable.
12. There are no age limits or residency requirements for entrants.
13. Winners must agree to the publication of their name on the UNRWA website and on any publicity material produced.
14. By entering this prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
