The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (hereafter: “UNRWA”) is a UN agency that supports the relief and human development of Palestine refugees and other eligible persons.
eUNRWA is an interactive bilingual mobile platform through which Palestine refugees and other eligible persons can create a user account to view and update their registration records (hereafter: “eUNRWA” or “Platform”). eUNRWA is our Platform for all UNRWA services.
This document sets out the terms and conditions (hereafter “Terms”) under which UNRWA makes the Platform available for your use (hereafter also: “you”, “user”).
Use of Platform
You must create an account to use the Platform and services related to it. It is important that you provide UNRWA with accurate and complete information and documentation. If any of your information or documentation changes, you should update it via the Platform or by contacting UNRWA on the respective phone number which you can find it here.
The Platform is provided for users over 18 years. You must be over 18 years old to create an account and accept these Terms.
Modification of the Platform
UNRWA may periodically add, change, improve or update webpages, links, content, and functionalities associated with the Platform without notice. UNRWA reserves the right to modify or discontinue any aspect or feature at any time.
Any other modification of the Platform, or attempt to do so, is prohibited.
Copyright, commercial use, or publication
UNRWA holds the copyright of the design, texts, and audio-visual content of the Platform unless otherwise stated.
Any reproduction, publication, or commercial use of any part of the eUNRWA Platform (document, photo, video, audio, or graphic) without UNRWA's prior explicit authorization is prohibited.
It is explicitly prohibited to make use of the distinctive emblem of the United Nations and the United Nations System Organizations, including UNRWA’s, except as authorized by those Organizations.
Use of personal data
UNRWA is the controller of all of the personal data processed through the Platform. The use of personal data by UNRWA is governed by the eUNRWA Privacy Policy.
Misuse of the Platform
By using the Platform, you agree that you shall not:
attempt to access accounts, computer systems, devices, or networks connected to any Platform servers or the website through any means not intentionally or readily made available through the Platform;
use any device, software, or routine intended to damage or otherwise interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform or servers, devices, or networks connected to the Platform, or availability of Platform data to other users, or take any other action that interferes with other parties’ use of the Platform or Platform data;
use any robot, spider, or other automatic or manual device or process for the purpose of harvesting or compiling information on the Platform for purposes other than for a generally available search engine or as otherwise expressly permitted by these Terms of Use;
attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, hack, port, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code to the Platform;
transmit or upload files that contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage or interfere with the operation of other computers or property.
In case of breach of these Terms, or the use or attempted use of the eUNRWA Platform in furtherance of any violation of law, regulation or judicial order, UNRWA reserves the right to take any appropriate measure. This may include the termination of your eUNRWA account and may affect your eligibility for UNRWA services.
Account termination
You or UNRWA may terminate your eUNRWA account at any time.
You may delete your account by contacting UNRWA on the respective phone number which you can find on here.
Modification of Terms
These Terms may be modified in the future. UNRWA will maintain an accessible record of any such changes.
UNRWA’s Privileges and Immunities
Nothing in or relating to the foregoing shall be deemed a waiver, explicit or implied, of the privileges and immunities applicable to UNRWA and its property, assets, archives, and officials as set out in the 1946 Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations.
