On November 21, the newly elected members of the first-ever UNRWA student parliament, representing all of the Agency’s fields of operation – West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria – came together for a four-day workshop held in Beirut. On the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, we commemorate the resilience of more than 5 million Palestine refugees, many of whom have suffered multiple displacements since 1948 when more than 700,000 Palestine refugees were displaced as a result of the first Arabi-Israeli war. This autumn, students across 15 schools in Syria, Gaza, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Norway are connecting through the virtual exchange project, My Voice-My School
