Two elderly sisters from Syria were unexpectedly reunited at a gathering for seniors, organized by the UNRWA Area Support Office team, after being separated during the Battles for Aleppo

Thanks to the loans from the UNRWA Microfinance Programme, Hanan from Gaza scaled up her business, renting a bigger place and buying new supplies. This enabled her to improve the livelihood of her family and build up her independence
