Qatar Supporting Education for Palestine Refugees

The UNRWA Jalazone Basic Girls’ School, which provides primary education for some 600 girls from Jalazone refugee camp in the West Bank, is one of several schools sponsored by The State of Qatar in the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan.

“Getting to go back to school makes me feel amazing! Thanks to The State of Qatar for supporting our school! We love our school and want to continue studying until we graduate,” said Bissan Khadash, a Jalazone Girls’ School student who is passionate about the importance of education for women.
