UNRWA and partners celebrate EU Day in the West Bank

On 8 May 2014, despite the cloudy and rainy weather, waves of joy and warmth spread around the First Ramallah Group. People from all ages came to celebrate Europe Day, which was inaugurated by Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Rami al Hamdallah and European Union (EU) Representative John Gatt-Rutter. The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) participated as well, exhibiting Palestinian embroidery products made in the Gaza Strip by its Sulafa Embroidery Centre. ِActivities included a photography exhibition, a mobile library, music, performances and kids’ activities.
