UNRWA students enjoy back to school packs from OFID

The OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) distributed uniforms and backpacks to students at three UNRWA schools in Shufat refugee camp in celebration of the back to school season. Students were excited to explore the various pockets and compartments of the backpacks they received.

In April 2014, the OFID School Adoption Programme in East Jerusalem provided a one-year US$ 2.5 million grant to the three UNRWA schools in Shufat Camp. The grant contributes to the renovation of school infrastructure, as well as the development of educational, extracurricular and cultural activities for students such as summer schools and Saturday activities.
