⭐Everyone has the right to education⭐

This year marks fifty years of partnership with the European Union, a key strategic partner for UNRWA, supporting the Agency in its efforts to help Palestine refugees achieve their full potential in human development, despite their difficult circumstances.

The “Education for Life” campaign celebrates fifty years of critical EU support to the Agency’s education programme, which continues to successfully serve Palestine refugee students across the Middle East. As part of this campaign, the EU and UNRWA are providing over 3,000 tablets to Palestine refugee students. This on-going initiative, occurring across all five fields of UNRWA operation, supports children’s access to quality, inclusive and modernized education. The tablets will allow students to utilize the innovative iLearn UNRWA digital platform, supporting student learning during the on-going pandemic and beyond.

The EU and UNRWA are determined to jointly contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4, which aims to ensure that by 2030 all students around the world receive an inclusive and equitable quality education. Together, we strive to promote lifelong learning opportunities to help break the cycle of poverty.
