An internally displaced woman in Nuseirat Camp talks about her daily struggle to obtain bread and other essentials for life as she stands in line at a bakery supplied with wheat flour by UNRWA. People queue for long hours outside bakeries, where they are exposed to bombardments and strikes. Ten out of the bakeries that UNRWA supports have been bombed. Overall, UNRWA has been able to deliver 3,000 metric tons of wheat flour to more than 80 bakeries across the Gaza Strip, using stocks that it already had in Gaza. This support to bakeries is likely to stop as we are not able to have fuel in the cars to drive the flour to the bakeries, nor to give them fuel.
