The 50-day conflict in Gaza in 2014 had devastating consequences for the residents of the coastal enclave, including Palestine refugees. Between 8 July and 26 August 2014, more than 140,000 Palestine refugee homes were damaged or destroyed and nearly 500,000 people were displaced at the height of the conflict. For young Jenin, who has now lived through three devastating conflicts, her radio served as the main link to the outside world during those fateful 50 days.
