Mohammed and Khadija: International Day of Older Persons

On International Day for Older Persons earlier this month, we followed Halima and Ali - a Palestine refugee couple from Burj Barajneh, Lebanon. We received such a warm response that along with @euandpalestinians, we continued the series in Jordan to hear more real life love stories from within the Palestine refugee community. “Those days were sweeter than sugar,” says Khadija. “We celebrated for a week [after our wedding],” Mohammad adds. Both Palestine refugees from Amman New Camp in Jordan, Khadija and Mohammed have been married for 58 years.
