Sami's Story

15 September 2014

Sami is a Palestine refugee from Syria who was forced to flee to Jordan with his family. He goes to school in the winter and works in the summer to help support his family. Sami says his summer job  “reminds me of how important my education is. At school I can get qualifications to be a doctor.”

Sami and his class in Irbid are taking part in the #MyVoiceMySchool student project. #MyVoiceMySchool gives Palestine refugee youth from Syria the tools to make their ideas about their education heard.
