Mahmoud Ouda’s refugee family lived on the main road into Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza. Over the course of 2003 and 2004, Mahmoud and his family constantly lived under the shadow of tanks and bulldozers outside their windows, with their house caught in the middle of several incursions that lasted for many weeks. For 44 months, they lived in constant fear and anxiety as they saw the buildings around them demolished before their very eyes. Watch as Mahmoud recounts those harrowing moments.
