UN Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric addressed disinformation about the polio vaccine in Gaza, affirming it as safe and effective. The campaign will target 640,000 children under ten with two rounds of oral polio vaccine type two, aiming for 95 per cent coverage. Since March 2021, over 1.2 billion doses have been used globally.
