The Blue Balloon is a protective moon that has accompanied Palestine refugees throughout their shatat (exile). It is a symbol of hope that can rise over obstacles and therefore unite people that have been separated as the Palestine refugee communities have been since their exile. The balloon is a child object, representing the innocence of children who are the chief recipients of UNRWA services. Now in our 60th year alongside the Palestine refugees, we continue to serve in hope for a future where our services and protection will no longer be needed.
