UNRWA and the EU celebrate UN Day in Brussels

Every year, UNRWA and the European Union team up to highlight the work they do together for Palestine refugees at Brussels Grand Place and the monumental City Hall, the most popular tourist point and meeting place in Belgium. Check out this short slideshow highlighting activities on the day!

The European Union is the largest multilateral provider of international assistance to Palestine refugees. Between 2000 and 2012, the European Commission provided over EUR 2 billion of support to the Agency. This funding has enabled UNRWA to carry out important human development for the most vulnerable Palestine refugees in Gaza, the West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.
