UNRWA Chief thanks U.S. for US$ 3.4 Million Contribution to 2023 Syria-Lebanon Earthquake Appeal

UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini thanks the United States Government for its generous support to the Agency’s US$ 16 million 2023 Syria-Lebanon Flash Appeal with a contribution of US$ 3.4 million. The funding provided by the United States will allow the Agency to continue to meet the humanitarian needs of Palestine Refugees following the devastating earthquake in Syria, including food, shelter, blankets and basic household items, and psychosocial support.
