UNRWA Commissioner-General Urges Re-Prioritization of Palestine Refugee Issue. Speaking ahead of the High-Level Ministerial Event on Palestine Refugees and UNRWA convened by Sweden and Jordan in New York on the sidelines of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly , the UNRWA Commissioner-General laments the chronic and urgent financial needs of the Agency – an appeal repeated year after year – and recommends an alternate path that places Palestine Refugees at the centre to safeguard their rights.
