Receiving first prize in the 2013 film competition was 20-year-old Salah al-Haw from Gaza, who said that his video attempted to portray the "overcrowding and difficulties Palestinian refugees in the camps face on a daily basis." Even so, he adds: "They are determined to go on, with a love for life and increasing hope for a better future."
