In 2014, Muslim Aid provided a generous contribution for the distribution of medicine to UNRWA health centres and food assistance to Palestine refugees suffering under the conflict in Gaza. The same year, Muslim Aid contributed towards emergency food assistance for 4,368 Palestine refugee families in Syria that were struggling to meet their basic alimentary needs.
Muslim Aid is one of the most prominent faith-based charities in the United Kingdom and has worked for over three decades to deliver humanitarian assistance and development projects around the world.
UNRWA and Muslim Aid continue to work together to provide basic services to Palestine refugees. In 2016, Muslim Aid made a generous contribution to support the operating costs of four schools in Beach refugee camp in Gaza in order to safeguard the right to education for Palestine refugee children.
