The conflict in Syria in its eight year continues to have shattering consequences for ordinary people whom have lost their homes, livelihoods and security. Palestine refugees are one of the communities worst affected by the conflict. They rely on UNRWA to provide life-saving aid including food, water, shelter and medical assistance.
Through the generous support of its donors, UNRWA was able to cover Cash for Food Assistance and Multipurpose Cash Assistance, along with Emergency Education and Health activities, until the end of 2019. Critical Winterization needs were also covered through the support of the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF).
