In August, Dera’a camp and city in the south continued to experience a relatively calm situation due to the ceasefire agreement put in place early July. A total of 716 Palestine refugees from Ain Thakar district in Dera’a who had been directly impacted by the clashes received additional humanitarian assistance including food parcels and non-food items for the ¬first time. In addition, UNRWA multi-sectorial teams from Damascus managed to conduct three needs assessment visits to the area on 3, 14, and 20 August.
