The Government of Austria yesterday signed an agreement amounting to EUR 2 million with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in support of the Agency’s 2019 Syria Regional Crisis Emergency Appeal.
The Government of Austria contributed EUR 1 million through the Austrian Development Agency to support UNRWA emergency interventions in the occupied Palestinian territory
The Government of Austria has contributed EUR 1 million (US$ 1,109,878) to UNRWA in support of the Agency’s health programme in the occupied Palestinian territory
The Austrian government has donated EUR 1.25 million (US$ 1,382,743) to help UNRWA provide health care to Palestine refugees in Gaza and the West Bank.
