Secretariat

The Advisory Commission Secretariat is responsible for maintaining an effective relationship between the Advisory Commission and the UNRWA secretariat. The Head of the Advisory Commission Secretariat is appointed Secretary to Advisory Commission meetings.

Under the guidance of the Chair of the Advisory Commission, the Secretariat supports and services all aspects of the work of the Advisory Commission, including the formal meetings, informal consultations and briefings, meetings of the Sub-Committee and its bureau, workshops, and field visits by the Advisory Commission and Sub-Committee members. The Secretariat provides editorial and quality control services for all UNRWA documentation related to Advisory Commission and Sub-Committee meetings, and maintains the Advisory Commission website.
